| Application | This reference is a heat-inactivated Escherichia coli phage PhiX174. The host bacteria of Escherichia coli are cultured, and phage PhiX174 are inoculated to collect phages. The collected phage titer and lysis efficiency were determined, and double-layer agar was used for counting. The heat-inactivated reference has no infection and pathogenic ability, but retains the complete genetic material of the virus particles. Mainly used for quality control substances and positive controls in related nucleic acid detection processes. |
