Weiyel Launches Methemoglobin Cyanide Reference Material

Published:2026-06-18 10:36 Editor:Weiyel

Hemoglobin testing is fundamental for anemia screening, health assessment, and clinical diagnosis, and its accuracy relies on a reliable metrological traceability system. The methemoglobin cyanide (HiCN) assay, as a globally recognized reference method, is the core benchmark for calibrating results from various blood analyzers. However, laboratories have long faced pain points such as cumbersome operation of reference materials and limited concentration selection.

Recently, Weiyel officially launched a ready-to-use liquid methemoglobin cyanide reference material, providing a precise and stable "benchmark" for routine quality control in clinical testing.

1. Aligned with International Standards, Meeting the Needs of the Entire Testing Process

This reference material is strictly developed according to the HiCN reference method recommended by the International Committee for Standardization in Hematology (ICSH) and the World Health Organization (WHO). It is suitable for: routine internal quality control (IQC), internal personnel and equipment comparisons within the laboratory, methodological performance validation (non-fixed value portion), troubleshooting of testing systems, and informal inter-laboratory comparisons.

2. Direct Liquid Flow, Stable and Reliable Performance

The product is a 10mL liquid formulation, ready to use upon opening, requiring no dilution or reconstitution, effectively avoiding operational errors. Store at 4℃ protected from light, compatible with standard spectrophotometric detection procedures.

3. Technical Specifications

Product No. Product Name concentration Specifications
BWM100105 Cyanide methemoglobin reference material 829.8mg/L 10mL

Weiyel will continue to focus on the field of clinical research reference materials, promoting high-quality development in medical testing with precise products. Inquiries and orders are welcome.
